Who is Pamela?
I am Pamela Morrison—a Gitxsan educator and Teacher-Librarian on a mission to weave decolonization into the fabric of every classroom and library.
With a heart for Indigenous education and a soul fueled by creativity and the natural world, I believe in a life lived vibrantly. From the library stacks to the beading loom, I am a trailblazer for change, blending 15 years of experience with a deep love for my community, my craft, and the animals that walk alongside us.

Pets Galore
I have always loved animals. Turns out I love them in my home too! I currently have 4 dogs, 2 cats and a male betta. If I could somehow combine teaching with having animals around, that would be the dream!

I am crafty
I love to create and beautify. If there is something I like or can imagine,I will create it myself if possible. I love to use my problem solving skills to find new and exciting ways of doing things. I believe that boredom is a choice. Why choose to be bored when you can choose to be amazing!

I love food
I bake, cook, BBQ and boil. My love of food and life in the north meant I learned a lot of recipes out of necessity when a craving hit.
Family
My family is the cornerstone of my life, providing the values and support that drive everything I do. I am who I am today because of my parents, who acted as my ultimate role models and sacrificed endlessly to provide for my brothers and me. Their selflessness is mirrored in my brothers, who are truly the most caring and compassionate men I have ever known, second only to my wonderful husband. Carrying their legacy of kindness and hard work into my own life is my greatest honor.
My Parents 💜
I am who I am because of them.
"Advocacy is about speaking up; inclusion is about making sure everyone is heard. I make connections between policy and practice to create spaces that work for everyone."
